| Time, Money and Energy - Your Three Primary resources All of us require three basic resources to live. Time Money Energy These three form like a triangle that supports our lives. We could use any two of them quite easily to replenish the third one. If I have a lot of time and money, and I can go on holiday, and replenish my energy. If I have no time, but lots of money and energy, I could use the money to pay the salaries of some people to do some of the stuff I'm doing, use my energy to manage and motivate them, and soon I will have time again. If I have time and energy, but no money, I can put that time and Energy to use to do something profitable, and so generate money again. Now any other physical or material resource that you might require in life, could be obtained through the combination of these three things. Need a house? If you have money and time and energy, you spend your time and energy looking for a house, and then your money to buy it. Need more skils? if you have enough time and money and energy, you can enroll at a university and get the skills you need. One of the basic arts in life then is simply this: Always take care to expend your time, money and energy in such a way that you produce more of it in the process. Creativity - the Catalyst to drive any of these combinations So there, then, lies the great challenge: How do I expend these things in such a way that they produce more of themselves in the process? This is where you need to get a personal plan for your life, that systematically breaks the cycle you are in. |
