| The Habit of Praying About things One of the things that God has been trying to teach me for a long time, and which I seem to keep forgetting, is to pray about small things, and to allow Him to perform miracles in my life. Whenever I remember to do this, things just happen that I look back upon with amazement. So this page, and the linked stories all relate to times when I've remembered to do it. Below is just one of countless times when it seemed as if praying, and resolution of problems, went hand in hand. Friday, 05 January 2007 Praise: Problem Sorted Yesterday, we had a server go down again – and in desperation I asked aloud “What should I do?” and clearly the thought just entered my mind: “You should pray first.” Which I did – and thing were once again sorted quite quickly. Now to put this into perspective - this happened whilst most of the team that were responsible for this, was on leave, and we'd been having continuous problems. Every time there was a problem, trying to find the right people to fix it had proven to be a total nightmare. Every time I remembered to pray about it, things got sorted out quickly. Every time I forgot, I would spend hours trying to find the right people, and the people working on the problem would seem to just not be able to find it. |
