Lives of Quiet Desperation

"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." said Thoreau

I suspect that most women also do.

And so do most kids.

In fact, if you want to find a "mass of things that live lives of intense, almost
constant happiness" then you should probably do some happiness level
research amongst dogs.

So how about you?  Are you living a life of quiet desperation?

You do not need to.

The purpose of my developing this web sit is not to just help you change
your life for the better.  It is to help you change your life for the better, so
that you can go and help others, in turn, change THEIR lives for the better.

Why don't you read my article about
sustainable development, and ask
yourself how the principles in there would apply to you on an individual
basis?

God said to Abraham:
I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.

I believe that each of us have talents which the world around us is
desperate for.  But most of us die, without even having discovered those
ourselves.

I hope that I can encourage you to find those, develop them, and then use
them to begin to improve the lives of those around you, in whatever way
you can.  As you give of the best that you have and are, you are bound to
stand amazed over time, at the harvest of life fulfillment and simple, plain,
straight forward happiness, that this will bring to you.  And you will probably
find that you'll be able to make a decent living off it too!

Thousands of
geniuses live and
die undiscovered -
either by
themselves or by
others.

- Mark Twain.
